I am a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist with 10 years of experience in clinical practice, residency precepting, and pharmacy leadership.
I founded RxCel Solutions because I saw too many brilliant pharmacists get rejected from oncology programs—not for a lack of knowledge, but for a lack of strategy.
Why Oncology is Different
General career advice works for retail or staffing jobs. It fails in oncology. This specialty is a "closed club." The Directors know each other, the Residency Program Directors talk, and the clinical expectations are higher than anywhere else.
When I was a student, I had to figure this out the hard way. I spent nights memorizing chemo protocols and stressing over how to "stand out" in a sea of applicants who all had 4.0 GPAs.
